When I was a 4-year-old in China, I learned that adults would sometimes have parties at night. Upon this epiphany I tried to stay up as late as possible to join these mythical parties; however I inevitably fell asleep every time as an overly active 4-year-old. Eventually I decided to put black paper up on all the windows in my parents' apartment and make a night party of my own. 27 years later, this kind of can-do attitude brought me to New York as an Art Director and filmmaker.

Today, I'm a conceptual thinker bringing brands to life across all visual formats. With a hands-on background in graphic design, illustration and filmmaking, I shepherd each project through from concept to launch. I have worked with Airbnb, Warner Bros., Marvel, Marie Claire, Condé Nast Traveler, Book of the Month, VICE China, News Weekly, Brooklyn Review and more. My experience in working with paper cut-outs still comes in handy time to time.

When I'm away from my desk, I often am making films! My first feature documentary I Don't Remember That I Dreamed premiered in 2022 at Ethnocineca. I was selected to participate in Creators Lab with Apichatpong Weerasethakul in 2023. I was also a National Finalist of 2024 BlueCat Screenplay Competition and a 2024 Brooklyn Arts Fund Grantee. My narrative debut Eight Walls Two Doors is currently in post production.
